Research Grants
The Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacists is offering two awards in the amount of $1,000. One is for residents and pharmacy practitioners where all MSHP members are encouraged to apply. The other is for students currently participating in research projects. All students, regardless of MSHP membership status, are encouraged to apply. These funds are intended to defray the cost of conducting and presenting your project or research. This award money can be used to, but is not limited to, offset travel cost to a National Meeting to present the research finding, hiring personnel for data analysis, development of a poster for presentation, or materials needed to conduct research (including computer software etc.) The funds cannot be used for overhead costs. All projects, research, or institutional pharmacy initiative projects will be considered. Projects can include medication use evaluations and clinical research, among others. Projects submitted should support one or more of the ASHP 2015 initiatives (details http://www.ashp.org/2015)
